Dancer’s Legacy Foundation works to prevent and end cruelty to horses through advocacy, education, and rescue support programs.
Our goal is to utilize and strengthen existing humane alternatives for horses to reduce and end their shipment to slaughter or other inhumane situations.

Our Programs
Equine Advocacy Programs
Dancer’s Legacy Foundation works to promote responsible solutions to preventing and stopping horse abuse. It is our belief that the horse industry is strengthened by keeping horses healthy and in safe situations as this industry relies on horses for its multi-billion dollar a year revenue.
Horse Care Education & Events
Educational efforts include written materials on horse care topics, events for youth, special interest groups, horse owners, and those with a general interest in horses. Events consist of educational programs such as summer youth camps (one day to one week long) and/or half day events on horse care and responsibilities.
Horse Rescue Support Programs
Dancer’s Legacy Foundation offers assistance to those working to keep horses healthy and in safe situations. From time to time, it may provide specific grants to pre-selected organizations to help with feed or basic veterinary expenses including gelding assistance and dental care.
